BARRY SUTTON

Barry Sutton is an American artist and educator using photography and AI to pose questions about our notions of beauty and the nature of truth. His body of photographic work over the past 30 years has largely focused on youth culture. Sutton has also become a leading voice in the emerging genre of synthetic photography, working with a broad range of AI tools to develop a new photographic language and leading discussions around the intersection of photography and synthetic imagery. His figurative and conceptual work has been exhibited in New York, Paris, London, Rome, and Brussels, and he regularly speaks at conferences around the world.

Sutton’s work has been published in Vogue, New York Times T-Magazine, and Newsweek, among others.
