WILLIAM KOLOMYJEC
William Kolomyjec pioneered computer art at Michigan State University. He taught engineering graphics, computer graphics, and computer art at the Ohio State University and started the Electronic Media program at Northern Illinois University as an Associate Professor of Design.
Kolomyiec worked at Pixar as a RenderMan™ Evangelist and International Marketing Manager. He marketed and developed edutainment products based on Toy Story characters. At Anderson Consulting he worked as a Learning Architect designing graphics for multimedia training products. He taught E-Learning, Web Design, and Interactive Media classes at the Art Institute of Tampa. He taught Digital Media classes at Saint Petersburg College.
Currently, he’s working to preserve the history of computer art/ computer graphics as well as his legacy on drbillkolomyjec.com. Full-time generative art.
