RED-BLUE TRIANGLE STUDY (4 elements) by ANNA BELLER uses the soak stain technique with highly thinned acrylic paint applied onto unprimed raw canvas. With this method, the paintings show blurry shapes and edges, repetitive elements, a transition between geometric and organic forms. They are results of the interaction between natural colour flow (‚accident‘) and the artist‘s intervention (‚regulation‘).
