STELLA NOVA by JULIEN ESPAGNON is a generative curated project. It's the result of much research and variations of a plastic exploration of an event: the Supernovas. This series is based on the principle of cutting and splitting shapes, allowing the discovery of the different phases of the death of a star. The result is an abstract visual interpretation of the chaos coming from the explosion. It is after many explorations—first focused on the figurative and organic aspect of the result, followed by the abstraction of the form by its geometrization—that this work progresses around colors in order to reflect the luminosity of this event. ABOUT THE EDITION NUMBER The editions are numbered randomly, i.e. the edition number is not chronologically assigned to the time of order receipt. All LIMITED EDITIONS are authenticated with a Certificate of Authenticity signed and numbered by the artist on the back of the print.
